If Comsol cannot start, you can try to right-click a shortcut to Comsol and edit the target:

C:\COMSOL40a\bin\win64\comsol.exe -3drend sw

(Force software rendering)

or

C:\COMSOL40a\bin\win64\comsol.exe -Dcs.systemfonts=off

(Shut off the loading of system fonts)

“Comsol with Matlab” can’t start Matlab using command

Comsol 3.2b / Comsol 3.5a

“Comsol with Matlab” ne peut pas demarrer Matlab car le chemin vers Matlab est introuvable.

1. Se placer dans le repertoire : Comsol32b/Comsol35a > bin
2. Ouvrir “comsol.opts”
3. Indiquer le chemin vers Matlab dans le champs “mlroot” (Ex : mlroot=C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2007a)
4. Relancer “Comsol with Matlab”
